GolfTees

Technical Details: The two main focuses in this project was the User Interface / User Experience and the level designs of 18 golf holes:

  • Produce a fully functional front-end user interface (menus, select screens, controls, help screens, etc.) and the in-game HUD for user and game accessibility.

  • Secondly, produce 18 gold holes with increasing difficulty much like in a real game of minigolf with vibrant and interesting scenery for a background.

ARACHNAZ: MINESHAFT

Technical Details: To create a proof of concept singleplayer level which could be played within the game. The game needed to have a clear gameplay objective and offer a solid gameplay experience consistent to the game genre and mechanics of the game.

I produced a mineshaft which contained my level. In order to complete, the player needs to find fuel to start the generator, a key to open the door and a button for elevator activation. A boss fight then occurs.

AIRBORNE

Technical Details: To work individually to develop an original idea for a computer game. Tasked to produce a game design brief that could be used to promote the game idea to a company in the games industry. The game must have the title ‘AIR’.

I chose to develop a puzzle plaformer in which the player must use special goggles and a suction device to eliminate the sentient toxic air and guide the labratory scientists to safety.
